Google To Hold Webfair For Nigerian Entrepreneurs



At the City Hall, Catholic Mission Street in Onikan, Lagos this Thursday and Friday, Google Nigeria will be hosting a web Fair Trade, The web fair tagged: Get Nigerian Business Online 2012 is open to thousands of business owners who wants to open a web domain for their businesses.
The initiative was first launched in September last year and will help SMEs create a free web site.
Interested participants are expected to have an active Gmail address (e-mail), a working internet-enabled laptop, IPad or Tablet, company write-up and photos and market material in digital format using a USB or flash drive relating to the business.
According to the statement made by Google’s Country Manager, Juliet Ehimuan, “The goal of the Get Nigerian Business Online program is to make it easier for Nigerian Entrepreneurs to grow their businesses by taking advantage of power of the web.”
